This scenic stone
bridge spaning a deep ravine, whence in
prehistoric timesaccording to popular lore flowed the river Elaphusa later Bretanide never fails to impress the
sightseer.
One can only conjecture why the bridge was built in the 19th century under Austrian rule, probably
as a precaution from flash floods.
Anyway the local population foundly refers to it as Emperor Franz Joseph's bridge.
