Stone Cutting School Pucisca

As testified by the numerous stone quarries in its environse, stone cutting, marble carving and related craft have a long standing tradition in Pucisca. Since time immemorial Brac has been the source of high quality stone for important buildings and monuments, including Diocletian palace. This distinguished tradition is succesfully continued by the present Stone Carving School the only one of its kind in Croatia, where talented members of the younger generations are already producing minor masterpieces.
